07:25 pm - Writer's Block: Sarah Palin?
Liability. She has so many civil cases against her, I think the republicans (yes, intentionally small cased) will take a slight hit for it.
That and Palin is failure.

07:53 pm
On the July 2008 issue of “The New Yorker”, the artist satirically criticizes the images pasted onto Senator Obama by the skeptical Republicans. In this portrayal, Michelle Obama's outfit is representative of militarism, and in her fist-hitting with Obama, the artist was representing the bad images the Republicans sloppily paste onto him. Also, the Islamic attire that Obama is portrayed in is also another badly played criticism, as the Republicans believe that he is Islamic just because he attended one school that was dominantly Muslim. The image posted in the back of the office is a parallel with his name being almost like Osama, thus making the parallel to Osama bin Laden in the back. The fact that this satire is posted on The New Yorker's cover makes it entirely comical, as “The New Yorker” is very liberal, so they were intending to poke at the Republicans. The intended audience were the skeptical Republicans and the Democrats. The intentions with the republicans was to to highlight their inability to correctly analyze the facts about Obama's past and play dirty politics; while at the same time, it appeals to the Democratic eye, as it makes fun of their rivals. The effectiveness of this satire is very high. The fact that “The New Yorker” is very liberal makes it entirely clear that they are making pokes at the Republicans, and that makes it effective for both members of the audience.

01:52 am - Writer's Block: Dreams
I have two. And one of them is quite awkward. So uhhh, I'll just talk about the other one. One day, me and my mom were at the mall, and like, she had to use the bathroom, so we went into the line for the bathroom. We were in line for like, four hours. Finally when she got in, she told me to wait outside for her. So I did. After a long time of waiting, I got panicked (sp?), and went around looking for her. I went around asking everyone. The weird thing is that everyone looked like her in some sort of way, whether it be a little bit or a lot.
I never found her.

I wouldn't ever wanna be a woman. Ewwww. I'd rather not have a big hole between my legs that randomly oozes blood every month. No thx.
If I ever were to become a woman, It'd be to get guys easier.
I really like these question of the day things.

02:59 am - Writer's Block: The Best Thing You've Done
Uhh. Looking in the perspective of ONLY the past, I guess I'd have to say learning everything that I know. *shrug*. But in the long run, in terms of things that changed my life in a positive manner, I'd probably have to say nothing. I've never really done anything that will make me say later, "damn, I'm sure glad I did that." I don't..really know. I guess I'm saving that stuff for later in life.
That's the thing. I'm not really satisfied with the status quo of things. Like, I've never done anything that I've always wanted to do. I haven't completed any goals. *shrug*.
idk.

12:18 am - Writer's Block: Facets of a Hero
I think a hero is a person who goes out of the way to help another person. Regardless of how much that affects the people near the hero (i.e. boyfriend, girlfriend, parents, etc.). A person whose soul existence is based around saving people and society.

07:01 pm - Get a brain, genius. I'm reading a book to raise my oral capabilities in french. And it started off with a conversation.
Quote:
Bonjour! Comment t'appelles-tu?
Je m'appelle Jacques Delhorme. Et toi?
Some fucktard crossed out toi and put tu. Uh, no, thats spanish. So I crossed out the correction and put toi.
Again, a time when I wish life had the "thumbs down" like on youtube on comments.

03:16 pm - Writer's Block: What Makes Your Friendship Work?
Well, kindness is a big thing. But I think thats for everyone. Otherwise, I think its wit and intelligence. It's hard for me to talk with a person about politics and world situations when they can't take the sine of 90. (But I can still be their friend. It's just sometimes a little difficult).
I like people I can argue with. Not angry arguments. But discussions. Someone who I can share ideas with.
Also, I like people who have the same interests as me. I spend my life online, so its usually one of my only means of communication (or at least, the easiest). So if a person doesn't ever come online, its especially hard for me to bond with them.
Someone who is active in their beliefs. I can't stand people that don't care about anything. I really can't.
Someone who is funny (while they're not trying to be funny. Like it just comes naturally.)
I know, it's a lot of criteria. But not every single person has to meet every single one. I'd say that a person has to have at least two of those.

10:40 pm - Writer's Block: To me, LiveJournal is...
Pretty much nothing. My blog isn't well established. It doesn't have a large group of readers, if any. I have like 12 or so friends on here. But as far as I know, 11/12 don't even use LJ anymore. I just type here sometimes just because...I dunno. I honestly don't. I think it's because I hope that someone random would read it and be like, "like ohemgee guys, i totally like, read this blog last night and it was so insightful!!!!1!!111!" to their friends.
Which is unlikely since I don't really share this link anymore. No one seems like they'd care to read. idk.
In other news: this is my favorite guy on youtube:
